Teacher of Science with Leadership Responsibilities

Required for September 2018

Salary: MPS + TLR 2b

The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring Teacher of Science. This role is ideal for an experienced leader or an outstanding practitioner looking to take their first steps into leadership.

The Science department is at an exciting stage in its development and this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking supportive team. Byrchall High School is an 11-16 co-educational comprehensive school of ca. 900 pupils with a ‘Good’ grading from OFSTED.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A Strong classroom teacher who can inspire motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff and students.
  • Play a central role in developing teaching and learning across the faculty.
