There are lots of websites and organisations that can give you information about different careers, training and university courses. It's a good idea to look into your options some more before making a final decision. Below are some of the ones we've found and are a good place to start.

  • Complete Preparation for Working Life Coursework. In order to help raise achievement there will be explicit elements of literacy and additional assessment for learning to allow students to achieve consistently higher average coursework grades

Due to the examinations in November y11 will only have 5 lessons to complete their CV, Letter of Application and Interview Notes. Lesson 2 can be missed out to ensure that their coursework elements are completed for their interview on Gold Day.

Kudos Inspire and Careerscape online careers resources are available to access for pupils who have been set up on an account via school.
Future Morph
The Future Morph website is designed to show 14 - 18 year olds career routes that studying science, technology, engineering and maths can lead to.
Bright Knowledge
Bright Knowledge and the Student Calculator are designed to help students and young people manage their money and explore education and career options.
Start is a free, online careers platform, designed to connect 11-18 year olds with their future career potential.
The Apprenticeship website provides one-stop information about Apprenticeships including vacancies.
Not Going To Uni
notgoingtouni provides information on the opportunities available after school - for training, employment, sponsored degrees, etc.
Look into different careers by watching videos by people in different jobs telling you wat their working life is like.
Career Camel
A careers site for students, graduates and school leavers. Career Camel offers jobs, internships, advice and courses.
Lots of information and advice on careers, further study and other things to do after university.
Success At School
Careers site for students ages 13-18, to explore jobs, connect with employers and pick up work and study advice.
Getting In offers revision materials for both GCSE and A Level and lots of information about choosing and applying for university, including when open days take place, the process of applying and lots of sample personal statements.
Best Course 4 Me
Best Course 4 Me (and their free app) is a good site to help planning a future degree. Users can identify A level subjects and see what degrees people usually go on to do, see what careers people progress on to from different degrees, etc.

Charity providing support to young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds to attain either a university place or another chosen aspiration.
Save The Graduate
A website dedicated to guiding students through both career and life choices beyond education. It has hundreds of useful guides and a powerful careers search engine.
Inspiring Interns
Inspiring Interns is an intern recruitment agency based in London. Browse their website for internship vacancies, graduate jobs and advice on recording a video CV.
National Career Service
Government careers advice website with lots of useful information for 13-19 year olds, and a phone number if you'd like to speak with someone about career choices.
Social Mobility
Social Mobility Foundation provides a range of supports for bright, less privileged A Level students to enable them to realise their potential, by progressing to good universities and into top professions and businesses.
All About Careers
All About Careers is a social careers website aimed at young people aged 16-24 with information about apprenticeships, internships and graduate schemes as well as in-depth coverage of 24 industries.
Target Jobs
